Using economic selection indexes to impact sustainability and profitability in livestock industries

Bruno is focused on promoting and disseminating breeding strategies to achieve better productivity and efficiency of agricultural production, with interests in meat quality, business relationships and genetics affecting international markets. Bruno was born in Brazil, has recently completed his PhD at University of New England in Australia and has been working with AbacusBio for over 10 years. His team has made significant work in sheep, goats, dairy and beef cattle industries, especially around national breeding objectives and economic selection indexes in various countries around the world.
