Applying mathematics to microbial ecology in pig and rabbit's gut.
Methods include next generation sequencing coupled with incubation experiments and RNA stable isotope probing which will allow to identify the genes that use a particular isotopic substrate.
I am also involved in theoretical consideration of the electrostatic interaction between virus and bacteria.
